Howdy YAL!
I used to be the blogger called YAL Book Briefs, but I grew bored of the handle and changed my name to Howdy YAL. I also respond to MJ. I like to read, write, eat truffles, and watch bad Lifetime movies.
So I'm going to do it, reeread the Twilight Saga one of the most influential series on YA. I'm going to do my reread differnet from other people though, I'm going to start on book four and work my way down to book one. I figure reading it backwards will give me a unique perspective. Also, originally I gave this book 2 stars I want to see if my feelings have changed since I first read it.Note, I'll be reading these on and off so it will probably take awhile before I finish it.Okay, so I finished it and now it's only getting one star. The implied pedophilia was waaay worse than I remembered it. I'll probably try to get a vlog up sometime after finals (December 11th) for my analysis/comparison to YA fiction. I might however, do a regular old review on it before then. We'll see.
