I used to be the blogger called YAL Book Briefs, but I grew bored of the handle and changed my name to Howdy YAL. I also respond to MJ. I like to read, write, eat truffles, and watch bad Lifetime movies.
6% Standards
It's not as bad as I thought. That's a good thing, right? Well, maybe. I'm starting to wonder if I have lower standards for Indys. Which is a shame because independent publishing books if done right are just as good if not better than traditional pub books. The sad fact is there's just a lot of muck to look through at the Kindle star to find those good books. And because of that, I have really lowered my standards.
