I used to be the blogger called YAL Book Briefs, but I grew bored of the handle and changed my name to Howdy YAL. I also respond to MJ. I like to read, write, eat truffles, and watch bad Lifetime movies.

I'll write the review later today/tonight. But God. If they cut about half of the cheese, half of the inserted poems, and someone guided Houck through how to write a culturally sensitive novel with decent action scenes this might've been okay. Anyway, as it stands. I'm glad I don't have to read another one of these for a month.
